Lilith

I began deepening my knowledge of Lilith when I underwent a winter journey with the Dark Feminine over the course of several weeks, going deeper each week with a Dark Feminine goddess. The following spring, while learning from Blue Lotus, I was guided to integrate Lilith into my hypnotherapy work in some way, to bring her in and let her express. I started my own Inanna-esque journey deeper into the layers of Lilith, reading books upon books of her legacy and her medicine, contemplating her in one meditation after another, setting her as my intention during ceremonies, consistently calling her into the spaces that I inhabit. This is also when she began appearing in my dreams. In one in particular she removed the barrier of my cells, pulling it out like a thread and as I watched my cells expanding outwards as a sludge of cell innards, merging with Lilith, she said that there is no separation between us anymore.

Through this deepening, I’m learning to use my voice to express my feelings, emotions, discomforts, and elations. I’ve allowed relationships that were disrespectful or simply tolerated to dissipate and dissolve, to create spaciousness in my life to gift my energy to what matters to me, aligns with my values, and honors me. I’m also learning to stand up for myself and set my own boundaries and to not fear the backlash and judgement of those who refuse to acknowledge their abusiveness. Je m’en fiche. And so, deeper I go. Listening to the innate wisdom that comes from within, letting the cycles and my intuitive knowing guide me, ever expanding.

I bless Demetra George for her divine way of seeing our Lilith natal chart placements as a story. It is a story that mirrors Lilith’s experience with the Garden of Eden.
